About pixelboard
At the time of writing (during the corona pandemic), everyone is spending much more time inside their house. Pixelboard helps to make this environment extra cheerful and personal. The end user can control each luminous pixel individually, to create a fun illustration or to leave a message.
The "pixels" are made of silicone and can be recycled. Just like the photo frames from HEMA, Pixelboard's wooden frames are made of FSC® wood. By using mains power instead of batteries, the environmental impact is further reduced.
The Assignment
During the corona pandemic people not only live inside their house, but also work, teach and play sports. This new reality raises many questions. But one thing is clear: we live together in a different way. This requires innovative solutions. Solutions that better meet our current and future needs. With respect for the world around us. That is why HEMA gave us the assignment to design a solution that makes the time you spend with loved ones at home better, more fun and easier.
